Target Field

MINNMLBP_0063_Crosby.jpg

Creating a uniquely Minnesotan fan experience requires more than a baseball diamond.

The goal of Target Field, the home of the Minnesota Twins, was to reflect the optimism and homegrown nature of the people. Everything from the entry gates to the wayfinding down into the branded spaces and clubs was intent on generating a familiar yet engaging and exciting experience.

The design approach was to stay true to the Twins brand while creating connections between fans, their heroes and their team’s new home. Historical references to ballparks of the past, hall-of-fame players and their teams can be seen in locations, like the Metropolitan club and Hrbek’s, to draw meaningful connections of the club’s storied past to the team’s bright new future.
