Hello, I’m Spencer.
I am a Chicago-based branding and design-focused Creative Director currently leading the Environmental & Graphic Design team at NewGround.
I like to think of myself as a "Swiss-Army" creative having spent time in roles focusing on environmental design, retail merchandising, brand development, advertising, UX and Consumer Packaged Goods to name a few.
I am a motivated and engaged leader of teams ranging from 2 to 10 consistently emphasizing engagement and advancement for members. I was trained to push for storytelling in every step of my creative process and often say "design without a story is just decoration".
I'm interested in helping define and connect purpose to a holistic brand experience while advancing DE&I efforts. Currently, I’m looking to join a team of empathetic geniuses who are driven by creating brands that last while encouraging a balanced, inclusive environment.
